Device won't turn on/off

Technology issues can happen from time to time. If a LENA device won’t turn on or off, a few quick troubleshooting steps can usually resolve the issue. 

If a device won't turn on:

  • Press the POWER button and hold for ~4 seconds.

  • Reset by pushing the POWER and RECORD buttons together for 10-15 seconds. This will not delete any device data.

  • Charge the device and try again in a little while.


If a device won't turn off:

  • Press the POWER button down for ~4 seconds.

  • Reset by pushing the POWER and RECORD buttons together for 10-15 seconds. This will not delete any device data.

  • Let the device battery run out completely. Try to turn on again later.


*If these steps don’t resolve the issue, contact your LENA Admin (at your center) so they can replace the device.
