Sharing data with families
Families may ask to see their child's LENA data. Here are some ideas for sharing info:
1. Show families their child's individual report in the LENA App.
- Explain what the bars are representing (conversational turns each hour)
- Share any strengths or successes you've noticed through LENA Grow.
2. Ask your Site Manager (main LENA person) to print reports. Then send individual child reports home with families.
- Put a sticky note or two on the report highlighting things you want families to notice.
- If possible, save the reports to share during a conference time when you can spend more time discussing it.
