When to Train for LENA Grow
Program managers: Your LENA Partner Success Manager will advise you on a training timeline to meet your launch goals.
Coaches: Plan backward from your target start date.
- If you are responsible for recruiting sites and providers, complete your Intro to LENA Grow and Recruiting for LENA Grow online courses as early as possible.
- Choose a LENA Grow Live training date that is 1-2 months before your target date for your first LENA Grow sequence. You want to leave enough time to complete Site and Room Preparation tasks, but not so much time that the information fades from memory.
- Complete all online courses before your LENA Grow Live date.

Training Requirements by Role

Programs may recommend select online courses to center directors and staff support their understanding of the program.
Become a LENA Trained Coach
In order to facilitate LENA Grow with fidelity, coaches must complete the prerequisite coursework, attend the full live online training, and earn a score of at least 80% on the Coach Quiz. (Link sent upon completion of the live online training; quiz can be taken as many times as needed.)
