1. LENA Online Vocabulary (3 min)
LENA programs have a vocabulary all their own! Throughout this course, we reference many common terms and names specific to LENA Home. Definitions are listed below:

LENA Online The portal used to manage your program, access data and reports, and find helpful resources. Access this site through a Chrome web browser. |

LENA Online Support Site Your guide to using LENA technology. View help articles in the Support Site by clicking the on any page in LENA Online. |

LENA Hub The transfer software used to upload data from the LENA device to LENA Online. It must be installed on at least one computer that is connected to the internet. |

Participant A child who you are currently working with and is enrolled in LENA Home. |
 |
Caregiver Any adult who takes part in the LENA Home program on behalf of a participant. |

Group A set of children participating in LENA Home. Typically each home visitor has a LENA Online group that represents her caseload, or her caseload during a particular season. In LENA Online, each child on your caseload is a participant in your group. |

User Any staff or volunteers who support the implementation of the LENA Home program. Users may include: supervisors/directors, administrators, home visitors. |
