4. LENA Fundamentals: Technology (6 min)

LENA programs use three key tech components: 

1. The LENA device is a small, wearable, child-safe recorder. Worn each LENA Day, the device captures talk interactions between adults and children.

2. LENA Hub is the transfer software used to upload data from the device to LENA Online. It must be installed on at least one of your program’s computers that is connected to the internet.

3. LENA Online is a portal to manage your program, access data and reports, and find helpful resources. Access this site through a Chrome web browser.
