Add Recruited Sites, Groups, and Staff to Prepare for a LENA Grow Sequence

As you recruit Sites and identify the rooms that will participate in a sequence, add them as groups to LENA Online and connect staff User accounts for data access.

For more details on Sites, Groups, and User roles, see Overview of LENA Grow Sites, Groups, and Users.

When a Site is recruited, the LENA Online Account Owner will:

    • Add a Site. A Site usually represents a single center, school, or other physical location. It will contain the participating classroom Groups.

    • Add a Site Manager. The Site Manager is often the person who will coach all classrooms within a site. The Site Manager can see everything within the Site, create Groups, and add Group Coaches.

When any information is available about a participating room, the Site Manager or the Account Owner will:

    • Add a classroom Group. A LENA Grow Group is any classroom completing a single sequence in LENA Grow.
    • Add a Group Coach. A Group Coach in LENA Online can be the person conducting coaching sessions. In a broader sense it is a user who needs to log into LENA Online or LENA Hub to manage any part of the Group's progress through the sequence: adding children and teachers, assigning LENA devices, processing, and accessing reports and other coaching resources.

Adding a Group opens up Session Prep so that the Site Manager and any Group Coach associated with the Group can prepare for the sequence.

After Groups are created and Coaches are added, Coaches follow the steps in Session Prep to finish preparing their Groups to begin the sequence.
