      Assign LENA Devices to Children

      For partners who own their devices: Use the Children tab of the Group screen to assign devices.

      This article is for LENA Grow partners who own and distribute their devices, to assign devices in a new room.

      For information on managing device assignments during a sequence, see Managing Device Assignments During the Grow Sequence.
      1. On the Group screen, go to the Children tab.
      2. Click Assign Device for the child who needs an assignment.
      3. Type in the serial number from the silver barcode sticker on the back of the device. (Leading 0 can be entered but will be removed.)
      4. Click Save.

      5. Label the device and LENA clothing with the child's name. See this article for recommended labels – removable labels for devices, washable labels for clothing.

      Good to Know

      • A child can have more than one device assigned, as needed.
      • Each device can be assigned to only one child at a time.
