The LENA device does not use internet or Bluetooth® connectivity. Data is transferred via a physical USB connection at the end of the day, when the child is no longer wearing the device.
The LENA device does not transmit or receive radio or telecommunication signals like a cell phone, tablet, e-reader, smart watch, wireless speaker, or any of the various smart home gadgets around us (wireless doorbell, smart thermostat, home air quality monitor, etc.).
The LENA device does not contain a magnet.
The LENA device complies with FCC radio interference standards for digital devices.
By virtue of having electronic components, the LENA device does emit a small amount of electromagnetic interference, similar to emissions from a hearing aid or battery-operated toy.

Medical Device Interference
While we can't dispense medical advice, we have no reason to believe the device would interfere with medical devices or treatments. It has been widely used by researchers in NICU settings and with children who use cochlear implants.
