When to Train for LENA Grow
Program managers: Your LENA Partner Success Manager will advise you on a training timeline to meet your launch goals.
Coaches: Plan backward from your target start date.
- Complete your Intro to LENA Grow and Recruitment and Site Prep online courses as early as possible.
- Choose a LENA Grow Live training date that is 1-2 months before your first LENA Grow sequence. This leaves enough time to complete Site and Room Preparation tasks, but not so much time that the information fades from memory.
- Complete all online courses before attending LENA Grow Live.

Programs may recommend select online courses to center directors and staff to support their understanding of the program.
Become a LENA Trained Coach
In order to facilitate LENA Grow with fidelity, coaches must:
- Complete the prerequisite coursework.
- Attend the full live online training.
- Earn a score of at least 80% on the Coach Quiz. (Link sent upon completion of the live online training; quiz can be taken as many times as needed.)
