What happens to the child in the original group, and to the data?

  • Child list: Name is grayed out in the original group, and an icon shows she has moved on. Click the child's name to view current group assignment.
    • Exception: if the child never recorded in the original group, the child is completely removed from that group.
  • Room report: Recordings made while in the original group stay with that group's Room Report. Future recordings count on the new Room Report.
  • Child report: The child's individual report is cumulative and will show all recordings.

Note: Each child's report shows for the group he/she was in first on the morning of the LENA Day. In other words, if you move a child on or after the LENA Day, his or her data will be in the old group. LENA Support can help you move the report. Email support@lena.org with the child's ID, the date of the recording, and confirmation of the correct room where the child recorded on that date, and we'll fix it.
