Introduce the Idea of a LENA Day

Help children understand what a LENA Day is like in a classroom.

"Our LENA Day" tells the story of a young child experiencing a LENA Day. Simple text, real classroom photos, and cute illustrations help children understand the important basics of wearing a LENA device and vest in a fun and engaging way.

We recommend teachers read aloud 2-3 times prior to their first LENA Day, and as many times as needed throughout the sequence. Many LENA teachers find it helpful to share the story every week!
