What does "report in progress" mean?

LMS_LENATech_Hubnoun-gears-718797-7F3F98We have not finished analyzing the data that was transferred from devices for this group. 

The report may still be in progress if:

  • LENA Hub has not finished uploading some of the LENA Day data that was transferred off devices.
  • LENA Day data has uploaded but it still in the analysis phase.

As more children's data comes in, the averages, trophy hour, and star counts may change.

Wait until reports are complete before reviewing them with the teacher.

How long until my reports are ready?

Check back in a few hours. Why?

  • Uploading to the cloud takes up to 20 minutes per child
  • Analyzing the uploaded data and building the reports can take a few hours.

How can I check on my data?

⚠️If you see an alert about a problem with one or more recordings, take the recommended actions.

You can view an unfinished report to see what might still be missing.

If it has been a few hours since devices were processed, double check on the equipment where you processed the devices

👉 LENA can't analyze data we don't receive!

When should I worry about a report that is not yet ready?

It's reasonable to expect reports to be ready by the morning after device processing... if all of the data uploaded successfully.

⚠️ If you see an alert about a problem with a recording, take the recommended actions.

If your reports are still not ready on the next morning, yet nothing is stuck in uploading, it's possible LENA is having trouble analyzing a file.

  • Analysis errors impact only about 2-4 files per week, out of the thousands of files we receive. You are a rare and special person! (This is true even if your reports are ready, but take the compliment, ok?)
  • You may choose whether to wait for the last child's data, or proceed with your coaching session, knowing that averages and stars could still change slightly.

In the very rare case that analysis cannot be completed, LENA Technical Support will contact the coach assigned to the group with next steps.
