Unassign a LENA Device

Unassign a device to erase it or to use it for another child

Devices are automatically unassigned when you close a group without converting to a new sequence type, but at times it's necessary to unassign during a sequence – for example, to swap devices between children, or to erase a device.

Here's how:

1. Open the Group screen.*
2. Go to the Children tab.
3. Click on a child's name.
4. Click the x for the serial number you wish to remove from this child.

*If unsure which group or child has the device, use Device Search to locate the device, then click  on the child.
